the Geo Challenge Grant project awards grants to nonprofit associations with creative geospatial applications, using online mapping tools like Google Earth and Google Maps, through Google.org Fund at Tides Foundation or directly from Google.org.

The grant provided to e-Geopolis by the Tides Foundation will help us to make our data on Africa and India available to the public through a Google-earth interface and develop online maps on urbanization dynamics in these two regions of the world.
